A Workshop for Environmental Staff in Alaska Native Villages developed by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the Institute for Tribal Environmental Professionals, and cosponsored with the Alaska Inter-Tribal Council.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), in coordination with the Institute for Tribal Environmental Professionals (ITEP), and the Alaska Inter-Tribal Council (AITC), will hold a workshop for environmental staff in Alaska Native villages. Workshop participants will learn methods and tools to build successful working relationships with Federal and State air quality agencies, with the goal of reducing local air pollution.
The workshop will also focus on the health impacts of air pollution, the State Implementation Plan (SIP) process, and control measures for addressing air quality problems.
