The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is embarking on the new carbon monoxide (CO) national ambient air quality standards (NAAQS) review. The Agency will hold a public kickoff workshop to discuss science and science policy issues relevant to the CO NAAQS review.
Expert speakers and panelists will present a variety of perspectives and facilitate an open dialogue on policy-relevant issues with discussion focused on health effects associated with CO exposure. This workshop will provide an opportunity for experts to highlight critical on-going research in their respective disciplines and the availability of new information from these efforts.
